Yooper at Heart

Hailing from a small (ahem, tiny) town in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Lauren credits her upbringing for her work ethic. She earned her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) from Finlandia University before transitioning to working remotely from Texas, Minnesota, and most recently, the Pacific Northwest. She remains a Packer fan for life, despite the hideous colors.

Tough Mudder

Lauren has been responsible for all aspects of our clients' branding—from graphic design, to type styling and color palettes, to user experience—since 2006. She has designed just about everything you can imagine, and is happy to take on any challenge thrown at her. She is, after all, a tough mudder

Jack-of-all-trades

Lauren, an avid (er… addicted) reader, is also involved in many non-designy tasks, including naming, messaging, and writing. She often advises Matt on photography and video styles in addition to designing on-target marketing materials for industries ranging from engineering firms and national parks, to dental offices and spas.

Lauren's favorite projects

'No pain, no gain' is an apt description of most logo projects. The new Vertigo brand was no exception, but the end result was most definitely worth the effort.

I have a love/hate relationship with Rodeo. The love part is obvious (nom, nom) but as for the hate... there is no greater torture than editing photos of food 2,000+ miles away.
