Russell’s Blueberries and Book Barn had an existing logo and website that didn’t personify the experience of visiting the farm in person. Monte Consulting updated the logo mark and website design to better illustrate the actual Russell brand.
Russell’s Blueberry Farm is environmentally verified by MAEAP (Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program). In addition to providing fresh and frozen blueberries, they also sell plants, fertilizer, Watkin’s products, and games from The Weekend Farmer.
Monte Consulting began the brand update by simplifying the logo mark and giving it a richer color palette. MC wanted the website design to feel like the farm, so they used a wooden board background to mimic the barn and a weathered piece of paper to represent the many books they have for sale. Blueberries in the header, a panoramic of the farm in the footer, and chalkboard design elements on the home and blueberry pages complete the transformation.
